CIVIL DEFENSE
Minimization (reduction) of threats (risks) to the life and health of the population of the region due to the imperfection of existing warning systems, which are built on outdated technologies of 70-80 years, have limited capabilities compared to modern technologies and do not support integration with the latest digital platforms, do not provide timely warning of the population about a possible terrorist threat from the Russian occupation forces.
Project Objective: To create modern warning systems that will ensure timely warning of the population about the threat of air danger and in case of a possible accident at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant and other emergencies that may occur in the region, in particular, in the gas transportation system of Ukraine, the Togliatti-Odesa ammonia pipeline, and others.
Effect:
✅ Timely warning of natural, man-made or military emergencies
✅ Promptly informing the population about safety measures and actions in case of emergencies.
✅ Coordination of actions of rescue services and governing bodies in the course of emergency response.
Ensuring human life and health, reducing material damage.
✅ Increasing the population's readiness to act in emergency situations.
Need:

➡️ Technical assistance in the development and implementation of systems
➡️ Education and training of personnel to operate the systems
➡️ Providing funding for the operation and maintenance of the systems
Total project cost: EUR 8.1 million.
