SAFE EDUCATION
Under martial law, the safety of children is of particular concern. In the absence of a shelter in a general secondary education institution, it is impossible to organise the educational process in a face-to-face format.
Project Objective: to ensure a high-quality and safe educational process in the region in a face-to-face format.
The new construction of a dual-purpose building (with the protective properties of a radiation shelter) with a capacity of 500 people (440 children and 60 adults) will allow
✅ create a safe, comfortable, inclusive, visually attractive shelter in the educational institution that will act as a common space for learning, recreation and games
✅conduct classes in a face-to-face format for 440 students of the gymnasium
In the future, the shelter can function for a new purpose - as a sports school, after-school club, stem center, library, cinema, laboratory.
Needs:
➡️materials and equipment for the construction of a dual-purpose structure (with the protective properties of an anti-radiation shelter)
➡️equipment for a sanitary and hygienic room
➡️school furniture
Total project cost: EUR 2 million.
