Problem: The territory of the Huliaipole community is under daily shelling. The destruction of infrastructure and buildings in the community is inevitable. After the cessation of hostilities, hundreds of tons of construction debris will need to be removed from the yards of destroyed houses, adjacent territories, damaged and destroyed buildings of social service providers, and other areas. It is important not only to establish a disposal process but also to recycle construction debris considering high environmental standards and using secondary raw materials for the reconstruction of the community.

Project goal: To create conditions for the recycling of construction debris into secondary raw materials on the territory of Huliaipole Community to meet the needs of the region affected by hostilities.

Effect:

The implementation of the project will allow the community to:

✅ Ensure the clearing of the community territory from the consequences of destruction;
✅ Create conditions for the return of community residents;
✅ Introduce advanced technologies for the collection, sorting, transportation, storage, processing, and disposal of construction waste;
✅ Reduce budgetary expenses for raw materials needed for the primary temporary road repairs;
✅ Increase awareness of the implementation of circularity principles and the handling of construction debris generated due to enemy strikes;
✅ Reduce the negative environmental impact by recovering resources and reusing waste.

Need:

➡️ Allocation of a land plot for the plant location;
➡️ Demolition, sorting, and removal of construction debris from destruction sites to a temporary storage site;
➡️ Purchase of equipment for the processing line and separation of secondary raw materials by fractions;
➡️ Use of secondary raw materials for the primary needs in the community’s reconstruction.

Total project cost:  365,0 thousand euros.
